Know Before You Go:
Red, white, and BOOM! Celebrate America's 250th birthday at the City’s Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3 at 6 p.m. at The Boardwalk at Town Center, 11362 Lakefield Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. 
Please read the following important information about the event!
 
Parking: 
• General parking will be available in lots near The Boardwalk at Town Center: 
• 11330 and 11340 Lakefield Drive
• 11315 Johns Creek Parkway
• 11465 Johns Creek Parkway
 
ADA / handicap parking will be available at Life Time Fitness:
• 11555 Lakefield Drive (access Life Time Fitness via the driveway off Johns Creek Parkway). 
 
Ride-sharing is encouraged. Enter 11465 Johns Creek Parkway as your destination in ride share apps and enter the drop off / pick up area via Johns Creek Parkway (green arrow on the parking map).
 
Note: Lakefield Drive between Johns Creek Parkway to the driveway at 11315 Johns Creek Parkway will be closed starting at 5 p.m. Friday, July 3 until the end of the event.
 
Fireworks: 
The big show begins at approximately 9:30 p.m. No personal fireworks, including sparklers or lighters, are allowed. No drones. 
 
Weather: 
With temps expected to hit above 90 degrees, it’s important to stay cool and hydrated. Stay tuned to the City’s social media channels and website for any weather-related announcements.
 
Food & Drinks:
• A variety of food trucks will be on-site, including cool treats and adult beverages will be for sale. 
• Food trucks include: Auggie’s Lucky Tacos, Bento Bus, A Little Nauti, Gekko Hibachi Grill, Viva Pita, Big House BBQ, Happy Belly, Fair On Wheels, King of Pops, Yom Push Pops, Dreaming Sweets, and Kona Ice.
• Coolers are allowed for food and drinks (no outside adult beverages).
• Water bottle refilling stations are located near restrooms. Water will also be available for purchase from vendors.

Seating: 
Bring blankets and lawn chairs. No pop-up tents.

Restrooms:
Restrooms are available on the exterior of City Hall (on south side of the City Hall building) and are accessible from The Boardwalk. Additional restrooms will be on the west side of the North Pond, near the Food Truck area.
 
Entertainment:
• The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra will perform during the celebration and DJ K-Swiss will keep the party going by playing all the hits to get you on your feet! 
• Face painting and photo op stations will be available at the event. 
 
Other:
No pets, please (service animals are allowed).
